Tell us a bit about yourself! How did you get started with your current career path/business journey?
I’m a Latina originally from Houston, TX, and growing up, I think the idea of financial wellness came to me as I watched my IMMIGRANT mother working tirelessly to reinvent herself. As a single mother of four, I saw how much she struggled with trying to provide us with the basic needs of life.
Prior to becoming a single mom, she really hadn’t worked, could not speak english
and seeing that struggle is what really motivated me to want to help women become independent financially.
I founded WWW b/c I truly believe all women (no matter their income, net worth, life stage or level of financial education) deserve to feel confident about their money. Feeling confident around personal finances means having the opportunity to live life with security and peace of mind.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
What’s a mistake you made early on in your career, or in your business, and what did you learn from it?
I didn't invest back into my business early enough. Meaning once I hired a $10K business coach I shifted my business mindset and propelled my business to the next level.
What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on?
Patience.
How do you invite others to take a seat at the table?
I am always looking for opportunities to mentor, celebrate the success of others and expressing appreciation to other female entrepreneurs around me!
What is one thing you wish you knew a year ago?
That my business could be COMPLETELY virtual and I could actually work from anywhere in the world!

Luminary offered community of other like minded female entrepreneurs during a global pandemic when it was difficult to find my tribe.
